Brunette Bombshell

People always say blondes have more fun but that's definitely not true! Brunettes can be just as, if not more adventurous... I've been there I know! :)

Having brown hair can be far from dull.

There are so many different browns out there and so much you can do with it.

You can add highlights, have a balayage or a dipdye.

You can go as subtle or as obvious as you like, the sky's the limit when it comes to brown hair.

I bet you are all thinking that can't be right because when I went to my salon my hairdresser said I couldn't do this & that with my colour.

Well your hairdresser is more then likely right.

Firstly the style & colour you are asking for just might not suit you and that is why your stylist is advising you against it.

Secondly as a hairdresser/stylist you always think of the condition of the hair & what's already in the hair, ie. previous salon colour, home colour, highlights, perms, henna colour & underlying pigment.

Every single colour has an underlying pigment.

If you think about it, it's not often you see someone with jet black hair have clean white highlights is it? No...

That's because the underlying pigment of black hair is blue. 

As you lighten hair the underlying pigment starts to show. That's when toners come into play. They eliminate unwanted tones.

So back to brunettes... Here's some of the different tones of brown hair available.

There are so many different looks you can achieve with brown hair.
